ROOTS provides shelter and other essential services to homeless young
adults. We build community, advocate for social justice, and foster
dignity among low-income people. The ROOTS Young Adult Shelter is open nightly 9pm-8am, providing safe emergency overnight shelter to homeless
young adults ages 18-25. ROOTS provides a hot dinner and breakfast,
personal hygiene access (including laundry, showers, clean clothing, and
hygiene items), on-site case management, and referrals to other
services. ROOTS is the largest overnight shelter in Seattle specifically
addressing the needs of homeless young adults, and maintains a unique
